You should try the #1 dating site: . This site is launched by an international online dating network. They are very excellent in US, CA, UK, and other EU countries. Their AU section is also very popular.

I recommend that you try DateAMate.com.au, its a new up and coming site which is based on MySpace, so if you want a maximum “experience” you can personalise your profiles and interact with your friends, write blogs etc. Their philosophy is that online dating doesn’t just have to be about you sitting in front of your computer, but more something which you can do with your friends (even if they aren’t single)- they can send you message to tell you to check out someone’s profile because they think you will be well suited (or just the person is real hot!) and you can run people by them to. Of course you can use it as just a regular dating site as well if you don’t want to involve your friends.
There is no pay per contact system, and no limitations on how much you use the site - so its a bit friendlier than other sites in that respect.
Because they are new, they are offering 200 life memberships for free (worth $150 each) so its a pretty good deal. You can check them out at - I would recommend you get in on this one as its gonna be the next big thing.
There are a few out there to choose from, and success varies in terms of participation. Prices range from free (which often means that you will have to deal with heaps of ads) to moderate, to expensive (where you have to pay per contact per person).
